Guest applications
Who can apply to be a guest?
Artists, bands, songwriters, musicians, producers, and other people working in music can apply. Share what you do and the stories you would bring to the conversation.
How do I apply to be on the podcast?
Use the guest application portal. Include your background and relevant music, social media, or previous interview links. Guest applications belong in the portal; the contact form is for partnerships, press, and general questions.
Can a manager or publicist apply for an artist?
Yes. If you represent an artist, use the guest application portal and make clear who you are submitting for and how you can be reached.
What happens after I apply?
Applications are reviewed for fit with the show. Submitting an application does not confirm an interview. If selected, you will receive an email with the next steps.
Recording your episode
Do I need to travel for the interview?
No. Interviews are recorded remotely through Riverside. You can join from a computer or phone. Follow the joining instructions in your recording confirmation for your device.
How long should I plan for the conversation?
Interviews are generally planned for about 30 to 40 minutes, although some conversations run longer. Follow the timing and joining instructions in your recording confirmation.
What do I need to record?
Use a computer or phone with a working camera and microphone, headphones, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space. Keep your camera on and check your setup before the recording so we can get straight into the conversation.
What will we talk about?
The conversation is relaxed and covers your music, songwriting, experiences, and interesting or funny stories along the way. Current releases and upcoming projects can be part of it, too.
